NAACP Liaison

What:  The NAACP works to inform youth of the problems affecting African Americans and other racial and ethnic minorities, advance the education and social status of African Americans, and to stimulate an appreciation for African Americans’ contributions to civilization.   This committee serves as a liaison between the local chapter of the NAACP and our school, shares relevant topics with the FKES community, plans and hosts parent workshops, and provides resources to our African American families.  This year the committee will also be planning the Black History Month Celebration in January.

When: Duration of school year.

Needed: Volunteers to assist chair as needed.
