What: A tradition at Forest Knolls ES, International Night is an evening in which we showcase our pride in our heritage. The price of admission is a dish (main dish, side dish, or dessert) representing your cultural heritage. The first half of the evening is spent enjoying food and looking at display tables arranged with items from various countries. During the second half of the evening, music and dance from a variety of cultures is performed on stage. The culminating activity is the fashion show, so come dressed in the clothing of your culture.
When: November through January as planning months. Event held in January.
Needed: People to advertise the event, arrange for entertainment, create display tables, set-up and decorate before the event, clean-up after the event.
